Going on Holiday
Well it's official, I'm heading down to wales for a weeks holiday & I'm lucky enough to be taking my DH bike for a few runs at Foel DH Trails.
They have 3 DH trails there for me to check out, so when I get back I can tell all you people where, when & what it's like.
All the usual info. & Pictures for you to check out when I get back.
I'm back from the Fort....
Yes, I'm back, I have a couple of souvenirs to remember the whole weekend by, a 100th UCI T-shirt & twisted ankle.

News update on Innerleithen
I headed down to Inners yesterday (Sunday 6th april)it was a tad muddy due to the thaw of all the snow from the top of the trails.
I popped into BikeSport in Innerleithen town for rip-off's & ended up buyingew goggles too....

Fox goggles £30 & £10 for a pack of 25 rip-off's
While I was in, I was chatting to the lad behind the counter about the 'Chair Lift' proposal & he had this to say....
"I was chatting to someone high up in the Forestry Commission the other week & was told that the geological surveys & Enviromental Impact studies have been done & approved, the next step is the long one, securing funding."
"The plan is....to have a full on Mountain Bike Resort, with up to 25 dedicated DH trails, from beginner all the way up to World Cup standard, 2 or 3 Free Ride trails & maybe even a slope Style Trail? Along with the existing XC trail, maybe more to come?"
"The base station is to be to the right of the existing car park that will take you up, virtualy, to the top of Minch Moor at 570m, with the DH trails starting there."
All in all, it sounds worth waiting 3 years for the work to start, thats only 3 World Cup rounds at Fort Bill, 3 holiday to Wales (which is 6 rides) & maybe even 1 trip to Les Gets?

Dawnzy (our photographer), has a new toy & wanted to share her joy with all of you lucky, lucky people.
I took her to our 'Secret' trail to have a shot of it & she had me doing run after run after run, I was knackered by the end of the day, but, it was well worth the effort.

This is me (Surf) doing our new additions to the 'Secret' trail, it's a really good line & makes you concentrate more than you could imagine.
Well, let's all thank Dawnzy for the lovely picture's, so if you want to give her a good word, just head over to the Forum & let her know.
