Nissan UCI Mtb World Cup 2009
Well, another year, another World Cup....
Yes it's here again, the races we wait eagerly for over the wet winter months, Round 1 is in a totaly new trail in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. We can't wait to see if Greg Minnar dominates on his home track.
But there are still 2 more DH rounds before Fort Bill, so maybe there will be a fight for the top by that time, which should make for some good racing.
Still on Fort Bill, the new trail & the DH trails in general will be open soon too, as long as I play my cards right I should be there with Dawnzy filming, so give her a nod or just pin it for her (she needs the practice) sorry Dawnzy, but you know it's true.
So, we hope to meet you folks up there.
The worst 3 weeks....
The past 3 weeks have been dismal to say the least, if it's not the rain stopping me have my 1st run on my new bike....

Sorry for the delay, but, we here at FRMBS have een busy & have traveled several hundred miles to bring you more news than you can shake a stick at.
We went to Wales, where I popped a shoulder in my very first race ever,
We pushed bikes down the West Highland Way (never again),
I shredded Fort William's DH trail for 2 days,
Dawnzy is now Officialy A FRMBS member, she shredded Glentress Black route,
Secret Trail anticks, Stevie was poorless in Secret.
News from the 7stanes
Innerleithen chairlift and bike park proposals
Scottish Enterprise Borders in partnership with Scottish Borders Council, Forestry Commission Scotland, VisitScotland Borders and with support from the Tweeddale Consortia are undertaking feasibility work into a Gravity Assisted Chairlift and Bike Park at Traquair Forest, Innerleithen. Feasibility work is due for completion in early March 2008. A meeting was held with local businesses and Community Council representatives from Innerleithen & Walkerburn on the 6 December 2007 to update them on the progress to date and a presentation was given by the lead consultants Tourism Resources Company & Tim Whittome Associates.

Yuuki is my Japanese pen pall, who is teaching me to speek....well.... Japanese.
I will try to get a photo of him without the foot pedal glued to his nose, I hope that wasn't his mates that done that to him!!
